2024 Timber Rock Village Recap

Our 2024 Timber Rock Village recap covers the highlights of a year filled with big changes. From adding homes to hiring team members, we accomplished a lot!

2024 Fun Facts

In 2024 we hosted 386 reservations for a total of 2,195 nights! Guests came from as far away as Wisconsin, Colorado, and Texas.

Meet Alyssa−Our On-site Concierge

Since joining the Timber Rock team in January 2024 as our on-site concierge, Alyssa Rounds has been the friendly face and expert guide that makes every guest’s experience exceptional.

With a deep-rooted passion for hospitality and years of experience at Deep Creek Lake, she’s ready to help you make the most of your visit. Her warm and welcoming personality, combined with her insider knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and events, ensures that your stay is not just enjoyable but truly memorable.

Complimentary Kayaks & Paddleboards

For spring 2024, we began offering complimentary kayaks and paddle boards for guests. It is fun for all ages and one of the best ways to enjoy time on the water at Deep Creek Lake−especially at sunset.

Kayaks and paddle boards are free for guests to use, and reservations are required.

New Docks

In July, we made upgrades to our community dock. The addition of "fingers" on each end of the dock created two additional enclosed boat slips.

Every home at Timber Rock Village has an assigned slip in the community dock. You can bring your own boat or rent one at a local marina. There is no better way to soak up the summer sunshine at Deep Creek Lake!

Five New Homes

Throughout 2024, we added five new homes to our collection of Deep Creek Lake vacation rentals.

Ferndale was the first to be complete, followed by Stone Haven, Foxcroft, Mountain Laurel, and Maple Ridge

That brings our current total to nine properties with more to come.

Special Events at the Lodge

During fall 2024, we hosted our first special event at the Lodge. Appalachian Wax Works guided us through a local honey tasting. Seasonal varieties of honey were paired with fruit and locally made cheeses.

In December, guests joined us for a holiday kid's craft. They had a great time making picture frames and taking photos in front of the tree at the Lodge.

What's Next?

We are busy making preparations for Phase II of Timber Rock Village. We will build seven more homes over the next few years. In 2025, we expect to complete Spruce Hollow, a four bedroom vacation rental, the outdoor pool, and gym. Additionally, plans are underway for more events the Lodge.

We hope to see you in 2025!
